TSP ERM seems to be the only TBI reader available, have to ask them if it will read EVU hours

@@joshmundy Super nice of you to come back with an answer. Im also interested in something that could read back to 2017/TPI. I emailed some dealers in the US that has some readers available to see if i can get an answer from them as well.

@@carlmigueljose1097 a lot if not all the TPI bikes can be read with a standard OBD2 reader with an adapter from like Amazon / eBay. I do not know of specific brands and models of readers though

@@joshmundy Alraight. And this includes runtime hours as well? My deep dives have only resulted in people not knowing, or that they cant read ecu hours with the cheaper ones.

The stock one has 25-30 usable wattage. So depending on let’s say a radiator fan you want to run, some are 15 some are 30 watt, so some are known to kill the battery.

What do you mean the top clamp, are you referring to the bar clamps? If so that’s all from Precision Racing

Haven’t seen one, but other companies have come out with ways to get in and tune them now

They have fixed that error with some software updates shortly after the bike came out

I am pretty confident the 23/24 250xc stator is the same as the 300xc but not 100% for certain as I looked on rmatv oem parts list but they don’t list the 250xc engine to compare.

The previous owner moved them around. I have done the same also. It’s easier to start in a dead engine hare scramble or when on the side of a hill and you have the clutch in.

Not that I am aware of as the only way to read any ECU data is with the XC2 tool which long story short does not work for a consumer. I do not know if a user unplugging the hour meter will cause other issues, but most likely they would not because most users do not know how to or care to. Also it is my experience that a bike usually looks like the hours on display - so a low hour bike should look good (clutch cover / stator cover little to no wear, frame or frame guards little to no wear, everything still tight, etc...) Unless ridden by a top level rider or just abused, a 10 h our bike looks and feels different than a 80 hour bike.

I honestly do not know. Is the abs light on like during normal riding like there is a fault? If so I’d suspect that is why it will not cycle

The TX300 in stock form is essentially same as my 2023 XC300 stock as well. I have been running this rewound stator for 30 hours and no issues at all. However I have not been able to ride with lights or any extra power draw that is needed, so I cannot comment on personal experience on how it handles it. I can say that I worked with Dan at TrueNorthMotos (a supporter of the NMA as well) and he tested this stator with the Cyclops Trail Boss Pro lighting (which is what I have but not able to ride with yet) and never had an issue. Dan also has fan options that will work with the stock stator, but fans and lights become a problem on these bikes. Enjoy the NMA series next year, its alot of fun! I am on the race committee so feel free to send me questions about the series. Also congrats to your son (pretty sure I know who this is by name and number in handle) in the first year of the youth series. That new bike he got really helped him with his speed!

@@joshmundy Thanks! Yeah me and my family are really enjoying the race series. Kinda decided to give it a try after watching some of the regular guys videos on RUclips. We loved it and are all in for next season. Yeah this is Connor’s 2nd year riding. He started on that TTR 125 which was a good experience but we were like you can’t be the only kid on the line with that little four stroke. He loves the KX 100 we got him. He is going to be 13 next season so he will have to be on the big boy course. I think he will be fine. Thanks for the information! I have the trail boss pro light I am running at the 24hr starvation ridge this weekend on my TE. Going to keep the light for my new TX. I will upgrade the stator through True North when the bike lands in my garage. We will have to link up at one of the events.

@@Hendy711 You will like the events done worry! I am at alot of the offroad events, my kids were also racing connor out there. Have fun at the 24 hour, I cant make it this year which sucks as I have been to the last 10 years. Its gonna be cold at night so be ready!

Haha maybe if people actually wanted it. Its not hard, but it also helps my pressure washer is plumbed into my hot water heater so between that and good rinse before soap is applied, it gets the bikes looking good!

Thanks. Didnt work like I was hoping. I need to 3d print a plug with like an O-Ring to help seal it so it doesnt get water in there when bike is washed.

Previous bikes it always worked fine, but the new MY 2023 KTM Offroad bikes they locked the ECU down

No I have not done a ride review. My take is I do not notice is much at all, which is a great thing for me. Seat sits a little lower but thats about it. Still handles to me very much how it was before

Yep - so far only a shop can clear codes but there is a fix out and the latest map is supposed to clean up the fueling as well so it runs a bit better.

@@joshmundy right on. Shop has had my bike for 2 days now, Hope its an easy push of new software. It should be......I only have 20 hours on the bike. I had 120 hours on my '21 Tx300 with zero issues ever.

The OHV park has maps available to purchase for cheap onsite. Also all trails are marked very well, you cannot go wrong

Yep. He said start there and possibly adjust a mm either direction but that most likely what he set me up for will still be good. So far I have no complaints

I tried many different types and none would connect to the new KTM units. If you have had luck with a new 2023+ KTM (not an xcw) id be curious what you used

@@joshmundy This weekend connect the terminals that activate the valve reset and this only allows testing with the scanner without the need to have the engine running

i havent found a fix yet
